DoKs – Knowledge is Not Power

There is a common idea that “knowledge is power” and is also used in the Wireshark website to emphasize the importance of learning about Wireshark.

This is at best an half true. Knowledge is only “potential power”.

Knowledge becomes power when it is organized in a plan to get a concrete and definite end.

Seems academic? It is not. That is what makes different a Practice from a Knowldge Base.

A Practice is a knowledge based ability to confront a category o problems following a common strategy/path.

I suppose the slogan meant that, but it is formally wrong.
